Set Up iPad

Set Up iPad

Connecting Wifi or Hot Spot if Available and connecting TV Gallery

Email, Text and QR Code Sharing needs Internet - Apple Airdrop does not

  • With iPad in Portrait View : Drag Down Control Panel from Top Right of the Screen

  • Hold Square with Wifi Icon

    Connect to WiFi or Hotspot if Available

  • Tap WiFi Square

  • Select your WiFi or Hotspot to Join

  • If using a TV for Public Gallery

    Use TV Remote : Go to TV Settings > Network > and Connect to same WiFi or Hotspot as the iPad

  • Tap the Screen Mirroring Icon

  • Select TV to be used

    If TV does not appear : Turn off TV and turn off iPad WiFi. Turn TV and iPad WiFi back on and Try Again.

  • TV will show Touchpix Event Gallery

    Before Touchpix is opened TV will mirror the iPad screen

Activate Event

Open Touchpix App and Activate the Current Event

If the Event Home Page is already open in Touchpix, then Skip this Section

  • Open Touchpix App

  • Tap Activate Event

  • Tap Activate Event

  • Scan Event QR Code to Activate Event

    Event QR Code will be given to you Prior to Event

  • Event Home Page will appear if the Event is Active

Using Touchpix

Taking, Creating, and Sharing the Photos

  • Set 360 Spinner to a Starting Position and Tap the Camera Icon

  • Tap Back to cancel recording session if needed

    Prep Participants with what to expect.

  • Press “ON/OFF“ to START the 360 Spinner.

    You will hear an audible beep from the 360 Spinner when it recognizes the button press.

  • Watch iPad screen and give Verbal Communication

    Count down “3, 2, 1 Recording Now”

  • Red Outline will appear while recording

    If Countdown doesn’t occur or stalls. Stop Spinner, cancel recording, and try again.

  • When screen turns BLACK. STOP the 360 Spinner.

    You will hear an audible beep from the 360 Spinner when it recognizes the button press.

  • Select Sharing Option

    SMS, Email, and QR Code won’t Send until the iPad is connected to the Internet.

  • If AirDrop : Tap AirDrop Icon

  • Select Participants iPhones to AirDrop Video

    Make sure Participants set iPhone AirDrop setting to (Everyone for 10 Minutes)

  • - Quick Tip for Participants -

    Drag down from Top Right of Screen > Hold Square with Wifi > Select AirDrop > Select Everyone for 10 Minutes

  • Tap the Check Mark to Save Video and Go Home

  • Access Previous Videos from the Event : Tap Gallery

  • Select Video to View

    Tap < Gallery to Return Home when done

  • Select Sharing Option

    Tap X to Return to Gallery

Close Event

Check Pending Uploads then Close the Event in Touchpix

  • Open Menu : Drag from Left Side of Screen

  • Open Manage Uploads

  • If Files are Pending

    Connect iPad to WiFi before Closing Event top finish Uploading Event Photos

  • Close Event

  • Continue to Close Event

  • Scan Event QR Code

    Same Event QR Code used to Activate the Event

  • Deselect : Close the Event After Exit

    This allows us to do any final gallery edits online before final closing of the event

  • Exit the Event

  • Touchpix will now be Reset

    Ready for the Next Event
